TikTok “Prankster” Arrested After Spraying Pesticide on Walmart Groceries

An Arizona TikTok influencer known for controversial prank videos has been arrested after allegedly spraying a harmful pesticide on fresh produce at a Walmart in Mesa.

The Incident

Charles Smith, 27, who goes by the TikTok handle @WolfieKahletti, filmed himself spraying Hot Shot Ultra Bed Bug and Flea Killer on various fresh groceries, including bananas, potatoes, apples, and squash.

  • The video, initially shared on his TikTok account with over 300,000 followers, has since been deleted. However, clips of the act surfaced on other platforms like Reddit.
  • Smith performed the prank at 8:30 PM on December 19, reportedly targeting the store to generate content for his channel, where he earns between $6,000 and $10,000 per month.

Smith turned himself in to police on December 21. He faces the following charges:

  2. Misdemeanors: Criminal damage, endangerment, and theft.

If convicted of the felony, Smith could face a prison sentence ranging from 5 to 20 years.
