The mystery surrounding Area 51, the United States’ most secretive military facility, could begin unraveling in 2025, according to a timeline hinted at in a 1999 interview with aviation journalist Jim Goodall. This infamous Nevada-based installation has fueled countless conspiracy theories about extraterrestrial life, UFOs, and advanced technology since its inception in 1955.

The year is tied to an executive order signed by President Bill Clinton, which sets a 25-year limit on the automatic declassification of certain government records. While it’s uncertain if Area 51’s files will fall under this order, the prospect of declassification has reignited public curiosity.

Goodall shared that an insider who worked at Groom Lake, another name for Area 51, hinted at 2025 as a pivotal year. When pressed for details, the source cryptically noted:
