A Year of Achievements

Eilish’s third studio album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, released in May, has solidified her status as a music icon. The album became the second most-streamed record of 2024 on Spotify, trailing only Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poet’s Department.

Its breakout single, Birds of a Feather, claimed the spot as Spotify’s third most-streamed track of the year, further proving Eilish’s dominance in the music world.

“I have the most monthly listeners on Spotify in the entire world,” she shared proudly.

She also celebrated winning her second Academy Award for What Was I Made For?, created alongside her brother and collaborator, Finneas. “We were the youngest people in history to win two Oscars or something crazy,” she said.

A Focus on Friendship

Beyond professional triumphs, Eilish described 2024 as a year filled with friendship and reconnection.

“I became friends with people I used to be close with again and just filled my year with friendship,” she revealed. “Even though I had all these things I wanted to do, that was the thing I wanted most – and I really did it.”

Candid Talk About Her Personal Life

Eilish also opened up about her romantic experiences, jokingly admitting, “Yes, I’ve had a lot of good sex. So, you’re welcome, Billie!”

She reflected on her sexuality and the public speculation surrounding it. Eilish, who confirmed in 2023 that she’s attracted to both men and women, expressed frustration over being pressured to label her identity.

“Nobody should be pressured into being one thing or the other,” she emphasized, adding, “It takes a while to find yourself, and I think it’s really unfair the way the internet bullies you into talking about who you are.”

Looking Ahead

As she continues to thrive in her career and personal life, Eilish shared her adventurous goals for the coming year.

“I really want to do stuff like skydiving, bungee jumping, and stunt driving – things that I could die because of,” she joked. She also plans to add more tattoos, piercings, and maybe even another dog to her life.

Eilish closed her interview with a message of hope and resilience, proving that she’s not just an artist but also a role model for embracing growth and individuality.
