Social Media Account A school shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, claimed the lives of a teacher and a student and left several others injured. The incident unfolded at 10:57 AM on Monday as students prepared for the festive final week of school, according to CNN.
Law enforcement and medics responded swiftly to the 28-acre campus, where multiple victims were discovered. “When officers arrived, they found multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds,” Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes reported.
Among the victims, two students remain in critical condition, while a teacher and two other students sustained non-life-threatening injuries, per AP News.

Suspect Identified as 15-Year-Old Natalie Rupnow
The shooter, identified as 15-year-old Natalie Rupnow, also known as “Samantha,” was taken into custody. Authorities are investigating her background, including social media accounts allegedly tied to her, which revealed a troubling fascination with school shootings and mass violence.
Disturbing Online Activity
Social media accounts believed to belong to Rupnow have come under scrutiny for alarming content, including:
- References to past school shootings in Jokela, Finland, and Parkland, Florida.
- Disturbing images of weapons and massacres on platforms like Twitter and Tumblr.
- A CashApp account featuring a profile image of the Columbine shooters.
- Spotify playlists themed around suicide and murder.
One particularly unsettling post, uploaded just moments before the attack, showed an image of a person making an “OK” gesture inside a bathroom cubicle. This symbol has been linked to other school shootings, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

Possible Manifesto and Motive
A document alleged to be a manifesto authored by Rupnow has begun circulating online, raising questions about whether the attack was premeditated. While the document’s authenticity remains unverified, Chief Barnes confirmed that investigators are examining Rupnow’s digital footprint for further clues.
Authorities are also investigating claims that bullying may have played a role in Rupnow’s actions. However, it is too early to determine whether her parents could face legal consequences.
